This is a view a few minutes before the plane landed in Anchorage, Alaska. The view is stunning from the sky as you see hundred of miles of snow capped mountains, glaciers (one the size of Rhode Island) and numerous other geological features. I was lucky to be sitting next to someone who worked for the US Department of Interior whom explained the various sights I was observing including Mt. Mckinley (Denali) and the Prince William Sound where the Exxon Valdez spill occured. He also mentioned to me that he was on his way to Cordova, Alaska to meet with a native Alaskan tribe to discuss increased hunting of moose for the purpose of ceremonial youth training.
