Ok so I am cheating
I decided to stop driving north and hop on a flight. So after spending a night in Seattle, I thought it would be ideal to continue the trip via aircraft. First stop is in Anchorage, Alaska with final destination in Fairbanks. Hopefully the northern lights will be visible on at least one of the next three nights. One thing that I noticed is that the logo for Alaska Airlines looks like Che Guevera wearing a heavy coat. That reminds me, I think I'm going to need a heavier coat.

I don't blame you man. After sitting all those hours behind the wheel and seeing dotted lines for all those miles, it's a worth while break to hop on the iron bird. And, yep...you bet you're gonna need a coat...it's 24 degrees in Fairbands, Alaska.
